Happy Birthday, Rosanna

Today is the Birthday one of my very close friends, Rosanna! We have been friends for over 40 years and continue to have a deep bond of friendship that I value very much. I can have conversations with Rosanna that I cannot have with anyone else... she understands the value of what everyday gives to us.

To Celebrate Rosanna's Birthday I have sent her a very special Birthday card!

I hope that everyone has a friend as special as Rosanna.  Please share a comment about a friend of yours.

Learning Curve

One of the learning curves for myself is the way to photograph the bouquets and cards. This is my first attempt. Not to bad with a Iphone camera. I am going to take a photography class in the next few weeks, hopefully the photos will improve over the next few months. Years from now I will look back on this blog entry and giggle!

Hand-tied bouquets! I love and enjoy how the color and texture of each one of the flowers can be the center of attention in every bouquet.

The flowers in this bouquet are beautiful soft green hydrangeas, orange roses and purple lizianthus. The intensity of the purple with the orange is striking in color.

The card was made for a different occasion -  wow they compliment each other!

Please check back to see how my photography skills improve!

Coloring!

Coloring, Coloring, stamping and more coloring with Copic Markers make an ordinary day a excellent day.

Especially when I am designing and blending colors for cards with Flowers!! Which flower and color should I start with first?

Enjoy!

What does a New Year mean to you? For me it is a time to reflect, sit quietly and give thanks for each person that has touched my life and for everything that I have. It is time to review my bucket list and update what new and exciting places I want to see, what my passions are and what I enjoy!

One of my passions on my bucket list is bouquets northwest. My small company that celebrates what I enjoy. This is the year for growth and time to execute my vision and passion. I hope you will join me as I explore this path.

Now, it is time that I share with you my papercrafting and floral designs. And a little bit about Oregon Wines!

I hope that you enjoy bouquets northwest!
