Third Thursday Tools!

Pattered Paper!

I read on the blogs and magazines the many different ways
craft artists find their inspiration to create.

This Spring for myself I am finding it in Patterned Paper.
It is my tool for inspiration.

Dots, Stripes, Plaids, Floral designs.

My head is swimming with ideas for cards.
(Something I need to take off my bucket list - learn to swim).
That is another discussion.

The colors in all the Patterned Papers are Spring shades I love.
Soft yellow, turquoise, coral, lavender, pink and soft blues!

Should I stamp and color with Copics and Distress Markers.
Or try embossed resist and Distress Ink techniques.
And then there is die cutting methods!

I may create using all the techniques I have learned!
Of course using my tool Patterned Papers!

Imagination!

Daffodil

Spring had finally arrived in Portland, Oregon!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday!
Thought I would share with you the "tags" my sister
Lori crafted for our Easter treats!

Lori purchased the pre-cut tags and used stickers!

We spent Easter at brunch in the wine country of Oregon.
While driving there I noticed all the Daffodils that were blooming.
For my April calendar (a bit late) I choose to color yellow daffodils.

Very happy that the sunshine is out.
The bulbs are beginning to bloom!
