Botanical Name - Ranunculus
Common Name - Turban Buttercup
I love in early spring when I place Ranunculus in a pot.
Simply...beautiful color!
Ranunculus are such happy flowers I felt this
would be a perfect Birthday card.
One of the lessons in the On - Line Card Class for
Copic Markers was adding Gray Shading to deepen and enrich the colors.
Which is something I had been taught before.
It takes time to master this technique and I will have to
Practice, Practice, Practice!
The petals on Ranunculus are tightly woven they remind me of braids. Perfect for the ribbon embellishment! |
Five more favorite floral choices coming!
Be Spontaneous!

Hi Elaine, I don't know if you remember me but I met you at the copic coloring class 3 years ago. I was going through my bookmarks and you came up so I thought I would say hello and see how you were doing. Also just wanted to let you know that there is a huge FB group and coloring group called Kit and Clowder. It's headed up by Alyce Keegan-she's an awesome artist and she has all her classes online. I have improved so much through her :) There is so much going on there all the time and lots of great artists. Hope you will check it out. Take care

Hi Holly, Of course I remember you! The Copic Class we took was filled with wonderful women and we learned so much about Copic coloring.
DeleteThank you for the link to Kit and Clowder, I am now a member.
It would be fun to meet and color together. Perhaps we can start a coloring group!
